My beautiful Lucy was rescued on the 19th of October, 2016.
At the time of her adoption from the Humane Society in Naples Florida, she was in a small room sleeping with one sibling, a boy.
At the time of rescuing, Lucy, I didn’t think to take her brother as well, as I was overwhelmed by all the pets that were up for adoption, and totally not thinking properly.
To date: I so regret not adopting Lucy’s brother. I can only hope he is being as loved in his life as Lucy is in hers.
Soft and fluffy Bizzy came into my life in April 2018, and he’s kept me on my toes ever since.
Bismark, nicknamed Bizzy, is an Apple Head Long Haired Chihuahua and though small in size, he packs a large bark in his quest for attention.
Bizzy is a Cancer survivor, and God willing he will continue to regain his health and fight the cancer should it try to come back.
To date, my fluffy little boy is doing as well as expected, and if any of you have Instagram, he is featured in almost every post.
Oliver is the son of a feral cat I named Chloe. At his time of rescue, Ollie had many brothers and sisters. Sadly, I was only able to rescue Ollie and his sister, Truffy.
At first, my main concern was getting both kittens fixed at my veterinarian clinic. While Ollie checked out perfect, Truffy had issues.
To date, Ollie went from a ferocious young male, to a full grown baby.
Truffy is the sister of Ollie, and daughter of Chloe. She is a grouchy kitty, but I love her all the same.
Somewhat wild, she is still a bundle of joy and will always hold a special place in my heart. I like to call her Miss Independent, mainly because she never listens to a word i say, and does only what she wants to do.
Well, unless treats are involved that is..,
Beautiful Chloe, bless her tired little heart is as wild as the wind in a category 5 hurricane.
Though I loved her ever day, there was no way to catch her, to stop her from having kittens over and over again.
As I sit here two years later, I often think about Chloe, and in solitary moment, I’ll simply write that there isn’t a day when my heart doesn’t find her, talk to her and love her.
I can only hope in my heart of hearts that Chloe has found someone who loves her as much as I loved her, and will continue to do so.
It started with Cats, dogs, and more of both!
My life was and is still forever changed from the many animals I’ve loved, and who have loved me.
I urge you to visit my kitty rescue and see the wonderful work my friends and I are doing.
Thank you for reading Who I Love!
Sending blessings to all,
Sam
